Gambir anom is a solo dance depicting a young refined king in love. The choreography of this dance includes stylized movements of a person preening himself before seeing his loved one. This portion of the dance is reminiscent of the first dance, Gambyong. As is common practice in Solonese dance style, Gambir anom, a refined male character, is performed by a male dancer.
